  The apartment was very big! We had lots of space.It felt like home. We loved having a separate laundry room in our apartment. The kitchen was great.I really wanted to cook and it had everything I needed. The swimming pool is very long - perfect for lap swimming. It is also super for kids. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay - - food was great in restaurant and room service - good quick service from reception when we had an injury! - cleaners were really good - great view (from the 7th floor) - the hotel was very clean - beds were comfortable - all round really enjoyable experience would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others

  I loved the late check-out, (12 noon) - all hotels should adopt this practice of letting you leave a little later. It certainly allayed a lot of stress and if you check-in late, you feel like you got what you paid for. I also like the fact there was a coffee machine in your room and the toiletries were delightful. Ox Eatery did a pork belly that was amazing and the caramel slice was also a real tre - I have stayed in many hotels in major cities Asia,Europe and usa and Canada in the last 2years and this hotel is as good as any of them.If it was in Milan,New York,Tokyo,Stockholm or wherever it would be the "in"place to stay. The staff are very competent and friendly .The rooms are very well appointed and stylish.The bar and restaurant are very good and have a great atmosphere .And the location is excellent. It is an excellent hotel.

  My friend and I were very impressed with the Rex. We got such a good price on our stay there that we went with low expectations.   Powerful Hot Shower. It's amazing that it is somewhat a rarity amongst Australian hotel / motel in this price range.(or the nxt one up, sometimes) We came back v late on the second day, informed the reception and we had a late check-out. They didn't INTERROGATE us on the reasons nor did we have to beg for it. No multiple reminder calls or threats ... vad folk säger » to charge exorbitant extra hours either. Superb! The hardware in this hotel maybe a lil dated, but it is the software(service+attitude) that will keep - We were very happy with our stay, the staff on the front desk were just lovely as were all staff we had contact with. We ate in the restaurant both nights and were very happy with service food and price! Our complimentary breakfasts were just the icing on a lovely stay, thank you very much, we will be back and will recommend your hotel to others.

  Reception staff - very friendly at each encounter. I was welcomed with unsolicited suggestions and free maps - very nice touch you would normally only see in a small country town. I am not that fussy but . . . I find dry irons in hotel rooms very frustratingly ineffective and a statement of mistrust. Cap Exec provided a steam iron and it was a v... vad folk säger » ery effective one (took a pic; will buy one). Breakfast buffet was very, very reasonably priced - didn't feel any urge to over-eat just to get my mone - My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

  This property is well priced, and quiet, and only about 10 minutes from the northern end of Canberra. The rooms are comfortable and relatively clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were there when a school group was also staying there, but because of the size of the resort, we didn't hear a peep out of them all night long.
