Wonderful staff, couldn't help you more with any queries. Great apartments, for basic holiday stay, nice balcony, kitchen had everything you could need to cook simple meals - maybe not set up for more gourmet type home made meal - ie. no oven. BBQ available by the pool. Pool was small, but all that is needed with a beach over the road. Would be very safe if traveling with kids. We loved everything about our 10 night stay here. fab apartments. we will definately come back and stay here again. comfy beds and apartments are bright and spacious with a lovely balcony. Staff are excellent at all times. secure and safe parking too. Beautifu beach just across the road so so relaxing. lovely places near by to eat too.
alla recensioner » Everything, Apartment was the best we have stayed over 7 years of visiting Australia. Room/bedrooms /kitchen facilities were far more than we experted. Very clean, very spacious. Superb gardens and pool and 2 minutes to the beach plus all the shops you might need within a few minutes. And finaly, very helpful, friendly staff.e. We loved the surroundings and how close it was to the beach and local shops. The unit was so tidy and clean and easy to maintain. The facilities where just what we were looking for with the pool and BBQ area getting much use. The staff were friendly and easy to talk with. Thank you very much. We were made to feel most welcome by Rosa the receptionist. The apartment facilities were excellent as was the design of the complex. The location was ideal with shops and beach immediately available. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Portobello to anyone. Portobello by the Sea is right across the road from Dicky Beach and just a ten minute stroll down the beach to Moffat Beach and cafes. The management were so friendly and helpful, being greeted warmly is a great start to a lovely long weekend. thank you, we'll be back. Great apartment layout and nice modern furniture. The pool was fantastic - heated so it was warm no matter what the weather, and plenty of shallow areas for the kids. Across the road from the beach and shops at our doorstep - loved the beach and location. The appartment was in excellent condition, the location was the best, our car was in a safe under ground locked up parking place. Rosa was exteramly friendly and helpful, great service!i liked every bit of my stay at Portibello By The Sea!!!. My son lovingly referred to Portobellos as the "hometel" because it felt just like home. Was brilliantly set up, very secure, everything was easy to find with beautiful friendly service from the team! thanks for making us feel at home!. Great location to explore the local area. Close enough to Australia Zoo, the hinterland, Noosa, hand picked strawberries and of course the beaches. Staff very helpful. Room very clean and up to date. Kids loved the pool. G. Access to shops, beaches, take away shops, etc. Ability to smoke on balcony rather then having to walk out on the street. The pool was fantastic for my 3yr old. She was able to swim in the wading area without me getting in. It was a close walk to everything. It was a great holiday experience. I will be staying there again. apartment was in a prime location 2 min walk from dicky beach.pool was small but perfect if you had small children--very safe.small shops , off licence, take aways and cafe/restaurants on doorstep. Very good venue, very convenient to beach, and a few shops / cafes just outside the entrance. Especially liked the pool. The unit we stayed in was clean and well equipped. Overall very happy. The room in the three bedroom apartment was great. We had family with children come to stay and there was lots of room for all. Loved the pool area as did our grandchildren. Spacious apartment with lots of facilities Swimming Pool and tropical Flora added to the experience. Very pretty gardens. Convenient for beach, food outlets and shopping. Good location for the beach and not too far to get into the main shopping area. Apartments are clean with everything you need.Nice pool. location is fantastic and the pool is excellent with its shallow lagoons for young children. The lifts are great given we had a pram. Only reason i have marked them as good for cleanliness is because the room we were first given had not been serviced. Cleaner had marked the wrong room. But the staff made up for this, they were obviously horrified with the mix up and gave us, what we thought was a better room, and a packet of Timtams!. we loved everything about portobello. Having to leave at the end!. The only criticism was that the wifi was not free otherwise we could find no other fault . That i had to leave... :). there was no room service :( however IGA was a 2 min walk. A little bit of street noise in the evenings but really that bad. nothing ---was flawless!. Didn't like having to lug our bags up so many flights of stairs, but it wouldn't stop me going back. The other negative was the TV channel info in the unit wasn't very accurate. Small issue. I couldn't see the water because of the trees but that is not the resorts fault. I would concur with previous comment where an oven would help the self-catering facilities. No free wifi. Limited food outlets in Dicky Beach some of which closed quite early. Bed was old and in need of replacing. Nothing. Having to leave. The fact you couldn't take the luggage trolley to the door of your appartment. There was a lift from the carpark to level three, but then 9 steps to climb with your luggage to our appartment 55,. Nothing. When one is (older or less able),as we are, we found it hugely difficult to make full use of the spa, please think about arranging to have a fully tiled step, to make life easier, also maybe some sort of grab rail, even youngsters might slip when getting out.
