  The location and the way the house is decorated - simple and stylish - makes you feel relaxed and at home from the moment you walk in. It even smells good and is impeccably clean, plus includes breakfast and cooking facilities. It's perfectly located away from the town in a residential oasis. We had fun watching the Aust - The rooms decor and the whole house was done like a lovely home setting. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Great kitchen in which to cook our evening meal and very good continental breakfast provided (which is a rare bonus for the price and type of accomodation). Staff very friendly and grounds beautiful. Only a few mins drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!

  Coming from a Hotel Management background, I know what it means to make people feel at home- I felt that everything was easy and effortless- by this I mean that everything was seamless, and the staff all gave the genuine impression that it was truly a pleasure to work there and look after the guests. Nothing was a problem- everyone was exceptional... vad folk säger » ly friendly, welcoming and pleasant. I also wish to make specific mention to the food- I had the pleasure of enjoying the chef's specials last Sunday - Our apartment with full kitchen, laundry and enormous bath was perfect for our family. It immediately felt homely with the bonus of comforts and amenities of a top class resort. The rainforest boardwalk was a joy to explore and the hotel was a convenient 5 minute drive to the town centre, or a 10 minute stroll to Tallow Beach. Complementary morning yoga on the verandah was also a lovely way to start the day. The staff were a stand-out; consistently pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.

  The décor was tasteful, the apartment was clean, quiet and well-equipped and the location was great.   I arrived very late in the evening maybe 11pm and could not find any hostel open, i tried calling the '24 hour' receptions of other hostels nearby but no one answered. i found the cape byron yha in an awesome spot and it looked open so i walked in and was welcomed by a lady who happened to still be working late, she organised my room no problem. Stones throw from the beach and 2 min wal - the location was fantastic as well as the price for a bed! happy was very comfortable.
