Convenient location for our purposes and not far from the station. Self contained, clean and equipped kitchen in our room was great. Had everything we needed for staying for a weekend. Staff we worked with were accommodating. Would stay again, definitely. And very reasonably priced!. Clean, reasonable accommodation for a couple of nights. Fantastic location (but watch out for some of the locals). Would stay again if in Brisbane for only a short time.

I'm a smoker so the only thing I didn't like was not being allowed to smoke on the balcony. Bed is a little on the hard side. nothing notable some bathroom fittings, eg toilet seat, and bed a bit tired not enough light/lights like so many. Windows do not open. I just think it's a little old now & needs renovating. Otherwise it was nice. Oh the shower head is terrible, only negative really. Hairdryer was not working. Was hard to find the Reception desk. No signs, I had to drag my luggage all around the place in the rain looking for where to check in. Traffic. No grab rail to exit bath/shower. No comfy armchair. LEFT. Charges for Internet. Cleaners didn't empty lint filter in both washing machine and dryer and an empty toothpaste packet from a previous guest was left behind. Nothing life threatening but it makes you wonder what else they missed. Rude staff, no greeting on arrival. Dirty kettle. Dirty food stains on sofa and carpet. No washing up stuff and teatowel Housekeeping in total was bad. bed was rock hard and room a bit dated. when booking I asked for a twin room, which was not available, but of which I was not informed until I arrived. my female fiend with whom I was meeting arrived a couple of hours before me, but was not allowed in the room. quality of the room. hotel is looking very tired. Room was cleaned properly each day. Room smelt musty, pillows really smelt unpleasant, noisy.
