booking was very easy, staff were friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast was great, It was comfortable. I didn't try the restaurant, but was very tired after a long day, actually had a burger just before booking in. good shape room with 2 entrances ample hot water when required parking at door step cold milk and generally good value for money pleasant receptionist, helpfull offer of other facilities I did not have time to use.
alla recensioner » The friendliness & welcoming by all staff. The Bistro & Bottle shop being part of the complex. Special breakfast room. Food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Complex also having a guests laundry. I chose Bathurst for its proximity to several different National Parks & Reserves. The Hotel itself had friendly helpful staff, and the breakfasts were a great start to my days' driving and hiking. It has a combined Bistro and Hotel onsite,Which is good and you do not have to go out.Breakfast was also good and the price wasOK.Overall this was our second stay in the last six months. The very friendly staff, I received a very warm welcome on arrival, It's very close to the shopping centre and Mount Panorama, this is my 5th stay there and I will be back! :). The rooms are excellent value. They are clean, comfortable, in good working order and more spacious than others I have stayed in. After a long and tiring drive the attitude of the VERY friendly staff where nothing seemed to be a trouble. The lady at reception was very polite and helpful. The location was good and the room was very clean. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Everything we needed for an overnight stay. Comfortable, cheap and clean. Friendly staff, would definTely stay here again!. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and offered great customer service. Reasonable price. I liked that there was a restaurant linked to the motel. Pool, everything worked, easy access to car, could open windows in room. staff most helpful and courteous, rooms very quiet and comfortable. we enjoyed staying at the hotel. bistro and the bar was great. great bar and atmosphere great staff always friendly. Large room. Comfortable bed. cheap and close to where I needed to be. The bar and restaurant on the premises. Proximity to the cbd of Bathurst. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location and staff were good. close proximity to town. Beer and food was good. Children frienly. Location. All ok. Hot showers, clean linen, proximity to city, friendly reception. Two tvs, easy access. I liked the food. well there was nothing not to like. only 1 small thing your pretend soap for the shower. The laundry needs upgrading. TV too small. Room has toaster but no knife or bread & butter plates. The hotel appears to have a very strict 2pm check-in policy. I travel by train-bus (14-16 hours) and just want to get into my room without any fuss when I arrive in Bathurst at midday. Leaving in the pouring rain. No fan in bathroom! Did not offer travel shower cap, shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast voucher no longer included. the one think we didnt like was , during the middle of the night the young people where very loud and noisey . we were up from 4.00 am and could not go back to bed as we had to be up by 5.30am to leave. Tv in kitchen area did not work well - I could not find channels for the kids to watch, but the other tv worked great. Kids were still happy. nothing. noisy air conditioners running at night time. the fact we had booked a room for 3 people but there was only 2 towels in the room, the meal over at the pub/restarant was not cooked to my liking, even after having a conversation with the cook, also one of the meals had the smallest rump steak id ever seen and was chewy. Bed was quite hard; toilet leaked;bathroom door very hard to open and close; no hairdryer in room; units need a paint and TLC. I found the bed uncomfortable. Every time we turned over it squeaked. It could do with a better mattress. Unit smelly (like sewage) & had to get air spray from reception. Local brochure mentions modern units. We booked two units & they certainly lacked attention & very tired looking. Pleasant Bar area. Restaurant meal just ok. Beds were uncomfortable. Re the facilities: The bathroom shower recess was unreasonably small, and the bathroom was small. And no exhaust fan. No hook to hang bath towel or hand towel near sink. freezing cold gale blowing in under door. The hard beds, the hole in the ceiling, the patched hole on the fridge. In need of updating - chipped tiles in the bathroom - limited facilities - bit over priced. Taps in room would not turn off properly and toilet was inclined to keep running when flushed. Mattress was very very well worn. Room was probably good in the 70s very outdated now. Shower and toilet very small. The motel could do with a rebuild those sort of rooms are too old now. Even after many beers still couldn't sleep on worn out mattress. I could hear the people in the room above, going to the bathroom! Not enough powerpoints, had to unplug lamps, phone etc to plug in electric blanket and charge mobiles and laptops. no exhaust fan in bathroom. Airfreshener was over powering and made the room smell like a toilet. The beds were very uncomfortable. Booked 2 x triple rooms, only had 2 beds in each room & we were 6 adult males who had no intention of sharing a small double bed. Breakfast was ok staff were excellent. bed was very uncomfortable, needs updating... i was not happy because of the air conditioning and electric blanket. Dirty walls, carpets, curtains the room needed a thorough clean. No lighting in kitchen, no dish washing powder. Noisy room, truckers all night, garbage truck at 04:00am, tv remote didn't work. I stayed in room 54 and reported the fallI had after going down the steps to that room, tripping on the uneven concrete steps.I Have cracked ribs and ripped slacks at the knee. While the two reception women lisened to me no information was written down.I Won't be staying there again.I Think you should train your staff better. Yvonne Noone.
