Staff were very attentive and helpful. Rooms are in the process of being upgraded. The one we were in had a new bathroom and the manager informed us that the bedrooms are being refurnished and updated as an ongoing project. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through. The room was small with no cooking or breakfast facilities, but for

Location, location, location, being able to walk out the door and onto the beach.
Basic, comfortable, budget friendly, excellent staff, friendly and only too happy to provide you with your needs.
Close to airport, store, cafe, etc
Would have enjoyed a longer stay.

Best backpackers I've ever stayed in! Staff are outstanding, the
place is so clean, beds are good and rooms are decent size, they have a
nice balcony area which you can relax or socialise in, good kitchen and

The manager is very friendly. I booked weeks ahead not realizing i had to check in on good friday. When I arrived at 10pm, the manager still answered the phone and opened the door to let me check in. And he drove me to the airport for free at 7am the next morning!

Excellent location for my purpose, being right next door toTweed Regional Aquatic Centre and lovely town centre of Murwillumbah, so I didn't need transport, felt secure and comfortable. Very hospitable and helpful manager, who plans to upgrade so it will be even better next time :)) -

For the price don't expect amazing facilities but it was very neat and clean and perfect for the weekend. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Overall I would stay there again.
