  We stayed in a 4th floor apartment that two bedrooms. The main bedroom had its own en-suite with shower, spa and toilet. There was a second bathroom with shower & toilet next to the second bedroom. The apartment was spotless and very well "laid out". The view from the balcony was great. I guess the views from the 5th floor upwards would be bet... vad folk säger » ter. I would recommend 181 to anyone, and I would stay there again in the future. - 181 Located just far enough away from the busy esplanade area too relax and enjoy the awesome weather and food Cairns has to offer. The apartments are large and spacious and met all our requirements. The owners were of great assistance with our daily activity's and knowledge of the area. We have no hesitation in returning.

  We chose Rainbow inn for the price and then when we got there we loved the hotel, The staff were friendly and welcoming, The room was perfect for us and we walked straight out our door to the pool and spa area which is just so inviting.   We were originally meant to only stayed 4 nights but we stayed the entire 8 of our holidays! It is definitely worth the price you pay. Our room was serviced everyday by the friendly house keepers and were always greeted by the friendly, helpful service desk people. The people at the service desk will always help you book tours, taxi, shuttle bu... vad folk säger » ses and all. Webber whom was a staff member was mainly a huge help to my partner and I!! The breakfast buffet is amazing. They offer a huge variety of - Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this

  My room is 306, the room is clean, tidy and pretty quiet too. I like it very much! The reception ladies are friendly and helpful. But only one person to serve in the evening time seems under pressure.   The full kitchen and laundry facilities, close to everything. Modern facilities, nice pool (a lot of hotels in Cairns are very dated from the 1980s tourist boom I think). There was a mix-up when we were checking in and we were quoted a much higher price than we booked, but for a Harbourview room. We ended up getting a Harbour view room anyway but ... vad folk säger » paying a really great price! Loved the view and the location. Also, they provide all eco-products for laundry, dish-washing etc., not just the standar - Great location. Right beside the marina and very close to the city. Lots of choices of nice restaurants just downstairs. Staff are extremely helpful. Helped us with all the bookings of shuttle bus and site visits. The studio hotel apartment was great value of money. The ocean view from the balcony was fantastic. Can't wait to come back to Harbour Lights for our next Cairns holiday!
