  For the money, it was a really nice hotel. The outdoor lighting at nice was so nice. It was close to Ventura Blvd, freeways and shopping. We also received a discount for eating at the Dennys on-site. They were very nice staff who were very helpful with our early check in and the paperwork was a breeze.   The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. I left something valuable in my room, accidentally, when I checked out. They immediately called to let me know and had it at the front desk for me when I came back. I also liked the free breakfast! - We liked our whole experience at the Sherman Oaks Hampton Inn.
