  We like quirky, so the Inn was right up our alley. I had seen many ads for this hotel before, but never booked it. I recommended it to two Aussie visitors in the summer, and they gave it glowing reviews, so we gave it a try. Best price for the downtown core, and they dealt with our unpleasant discovery as - Clean, tasteful, comfortable, affordable, quiet, and extremely convenient to the hospital, where my husband was having tests.   The Hostel is really nice. . It's in Chinatown. Not the safest neighbourhood but it has Great access to public transport and the most important sights. You could just walk there. They are pretty close. Staff is very friendly and room was ok. We were able to check in about 2 hours early, which helped so much, since we had been on the road since 8 am and the entire day before. My son, 25, is going to uw in the fall for law school. Public transit (bus) to center city is also easy.
