  I liked that it was clean and comfortable and the walls were very well insulated. The clerk, a woman probably in her 40's w/ dark hair, was very pleasant and this gives you a sense of peace and well-being. - Safe neighborhood and clean also quiet. Friendly owners. It was easy to get in and out of San Francisco.

  Its close to the freeway so access was easy. Very close to downtown San Rafael allows for easy access to the restaurants. Rooms were very clean and well taken care of. Bed was comfortable and I love how the staff was very alert and attentive but allowed privacy and didnt bother us. Check in and check out was very easy as well.   It was my first stay and I love this place. They were kind and friendly and the whole atmosphere reminds me of small places I stayed at in Europe. Charming. Breakfast was beautiful and well made. It was immaculately clean..for the most part. Easy to locate and a very secure feeling even at night alone with my two little ones.
