  We were just several blocks from downtown, on the city bus route. City bus fares are excellent in San Antonio for seniors. It was also just 4 blocks from the Amtack station. The neighborhood is on a fringe area but we (2 men) felt safe.   It was right down the street from the club lounge I had my birthday party at. The breakfast in the morning was aplus to the low cost to stay in a very clean and friendly atmosphere. - I appreciated the price. San Antonio on a weekend is very expensive and this place offered an affordable rate.

  I loved the fact that the room was spacious. Even thou the pool was outside our room it was really quiet. There was very little outside noise, which is great because I am a light sleeper. :) - Staff at the front desk were very helpful and went out of their way to help us. Pool was nice and the rooms were spacious.
