We were able just to enjoy waking up whenever - long breakfast hours
allowed for that. The pool, hot tub and quiet room was great....to relax
and celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Ben, at the front desk even
made our first night amazing by giving us two tickets for a free dinner!

Everything was excellent, from check-in to check-out. The room was gorgeous, we stayed in a double queen size room. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and eating dinner at Miller's the night before was wonderful. A hugh selection of food and desserts. Enjoyed the coupon for Miller's which was presented upon check-in Swimming pool and hot tub were fantastic and relaxing.

Robert is an enthusiastic and gracious host, a fund of local info and a good cook. The location is perfect for seeing Amish locations, as long as you have transport. -

It was a great novelty experiences for the kids, they love trains and the area is so great for a vacation. Go during Day Out With Thomas time (late summer/early fall) and your kids will have a blast. It's within 15 mins of tons of fun activities, like the PA Railway Museum (which is a must see) and the Strasburg railway, which runs right past the Motel (as in, during your ride on Thomas you pass the Cabooses, which the kids loved). I loved the fact that it was off the beaten path which made it very relaxing & peaceful. Two of my must haves are clean & quiet. Cherry Lane is this & much more. I have already recommended Cherry Lane to family & friends & will also be staying there again on my next trip to Lancaster. -
