  the cottage was so cute. the spa was lovely and the bath just a treat. everything needed was there including extra little touches like coffee and filters and fire starters and wood.   The owners are very kind and the B&B is clean and cool. The breakfast is perfect. The night before they leave you a paper where you have to choose what would you like to have for breakfast.   Patricia is an awesome host. We really felt like part of the family during our stay. Everything was very homely and comfortable and the location great for walking into hilo town itself for a beer and for exploring the sites of the big island. Oh and the breakfast is great too. - Perfect place, we loved it here. Patricia has a lovely home and she rents out rooms to guests. So this is more a homestay than a hotel. Everything was clean and cosy, and breakfast was definitely the best we had in Hawaii!!! Take a close look at the address and a map before you go though, because there is no sign on the house.

  Absolutely beautiful house - never seen anything like that for rent - it's been designed, built and decorated for a personal use, with great taste and stylish details. Great location - only a few minutes to volcano visitors center, 40 min drive from Hilo airport. Tropical rainforest with orchids starts right in the backyard! Loved the peaceful area and forest that makes you feel like you are miles away from your neighbors, the house was beautifully designed and cozy, enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub and full kitchen. The kitchen is quite big, with everything you could possibly need. The Master Bathroom is fit for a Queen, the other Jacuzzi tub a close second.   We loved the proximity to both Hilo & Volcano. It was a great spot to begin our daily adventures from. The quiet surrounds were beautiful & private. The hot tub was an added bonus we finally managed to enjoy on our last night. The facilities were of a much higher standard than expected.
