The location is great. Right by the water and in a 'real' part
of the island. Don't take any notice of reviews that say the
neighbourhood is unsafe. It is a working area and there are fishermen
with gear etc. It's real!!
Staff at the resort are very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Good to have the pool, canoes and snorkelling gear available

It was only a 5-10min walk to the Seven Eleven, and Mike’s Hulu Chicken truck and a grocery store where you can also buy alochol and foods. The room had hot plates and a microwave and kitchen. So that was more than fine.
The scenery was just magnificent. The water and beautiful rich green mountains with mist. I loved the fact that it was so far away from Wakiki. (Too busy for me).
My studio room was enormous and my bed was very comfortable.

I originally did not pick because it looked somewhat shady but when I arrived to HNL and saw what it looked like. I booked a reservation.

I thought Rhisa, who checked me in was a wonderful concierge who helped me with all my inquiries and had bell hop take all my treasures up to my room! I was concerned about the property after reading reviews & was
pleasantly pleased with everything about the hotel. Noise was not an
issue as so many reviewers said. But it is a city so there will be some.
We closed our windows at night & slept well. Great location. Buses
out front. IHop across the street. Staff went out of their way to help
whenever approached. I would stay here again.

Concierge was awesome, live music very good, coffee lady was so sweet,

The hotel was good in facility and even has a swimming pool, although I didn't use. The mountain view room has just a few blocks in the view and was good to me. The room was pretty large for one person, clean and with all necessary items except you have to bring your own tooth brush and paste.

The Hilton Hawaii is a very grand and posh hotel. So obviously expensive. Facilities are very good. 8 swimming pools. Eateries. Shopping mall. Grocery etc. easily available. Beach is poor and stony. Crisp and clean, great view (overlooking park and sea), great location (edge of Waikiki so quiet, but 2 mins walk from town action), ultra modern room (fully stocked), Very helpfull staff, Great value for the price and perfect for getting out to see rest of island and for nights when you don't want to eat out as everything you need is in the room.
