  The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was very nice. The room was dated and dusty around the edges, but the bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, good value. - Price was good. Really, not far from Duke University, but only by car or cab. Supermarket and restaurants in the neighborhood.

  The room was not furnished with the typical hotel furniture. The king size bed was made with the heavy pine rough cut timber. There was a sofa, futon and rocker in the room, as well. A refrigerator and microwave were provided. Coffee maker and supplies were also provided. Even though we didn't use it, there was a Tiki bar at the pool. The breakfast buffet that is offered for $6 on the weekends was very good. - Friendly atmosphere, good food from the convenient onsite restaurant and live entertainment at the Tiki Bar. We brought our trailer with motorcycle and the front desk was happy to accommodate special parking. Two days prior to check-in a lady named Beth from the hotel called us offering a room upgrade. Fridge and microwave in room is very convenient. We will definitely return for future visits.
