Stayed there for my birthday and was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! The level of customer service was top notch! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is swanky and done right from the artwork in the lobby to the, spa, to the rooms, to the restaurant and nightclub. It truly is a one stop shop experience. It was my daughter and son's first trip to NYC and coming by train it was a very convenient location. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and locked our luggage after check-out so we could sightsee. The Marriot Marquis have a very friendly staff. Everyone was always helpful and all smiles. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The Christmas spirit with all the CHristmas trees in lobby was truley magical. One is able to see all the efforts that were made to give a guest a magicial holiday spirit the moment you walk through the doors. The restaurants, gift shops and loungres are very convenient as well. Over our opinion of hotel is a excellent plus plus.

I liked the location of the hotel, the room was nice with a very comfortable bed and pillow and great view of the City from the 20th floor. The staff were very good also. We upgraded to the Sheraton Club on the 21st floor which was nice, it had a great view of the City and Hudson River. It is not a luxury hotel but is very comfortable and affordable.

Great location fro forays into New York. Just 20 minutes from Newark airport. About 20 minutes from New york City. You could easily dump the car and use the PATH train to go into the City of New York for just $2.50. The trains are clean and on time. The staff were helpful. It was walking distance from the City Centre

Size of room and facilities in room. Staff friendly and helpful, my sister and i stayed a week and nothing was too much. Breakfast was busy but grand. Close to Path train - 5 minute walk not 15 as in other reviews. 2 stops to great shopping at Newport and 10 mins to World Trade Centre. Room spotless, housekeeping came in every day. ViP diner on main street fab. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent location for anyone who has business at the United Nations or around mid-town. The hotel's historic atmosphere is very appealling. - I liked it all! It was really great. The hotel looks beautiful and the staff is really polite. The rooms look amazing.
