  The hotel has a delightful old world charm in the perfect location next to the Plaza. Perfect even during significant snow since everything is within walking distance. The fireplaces are perfect for reading a book while enjoying a drink and some guacamole and chips. The newly refurbished rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. Food was delicious. The manager Rebecca was extremely warm and friendly. We were very impressed with her. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a great job. The location was the best. We were pleased with our stay.

I wrote a thank you letter to the manager and staff before leaving-- and I DID hate to leav - The manager gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us to our room. He explained everything. Times for breakfast, shuttle to the shopping area in old Albuquerque etc. He was great and so was the room. Our shuttle driver gave us recommendations for dinner and pointed out some places to visit. We enjoyed our one night in Albuquerque. We had to cut our visit short by 1 day at the last minute. We wished we could have stayed longer.
