  In all of our travels, I have never stayed anywhere like this. It is a remarkable patch of paradise, with the yurts perched over the most amazing small cove, with views that defy description. The magnificent pictures on their website don't even do it justice!   This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. - We had my daughters wedding there.   We had a delightful stay at Summit Lake Lodge with among the most friendly proprietors we have encountered. We stayed in a cabin which was an ideal mixture of updates and Alaskan charm, tucked away in the trees surrounding Summit Lake. Dinner at the restaurant was gourmet - the best we had in our week-and-a-half vacation. We couldn't have been more delighted with our stay and wished we ha - My husband and I stayed overnight at the Summit Lake Lodge, and we both greatly enjoyed the experience. The cabins are very comfortable and well decorated with careful attention paid to small details that make the cabins feel so "homey". The owners and staff are warm and personable and really go the extra mile to take care of the guests. The breakfast that is included in the price is fantastic. The mountain setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed kayaking in the adjacent lake. We highly recommend

  What an amazing relaxing place to stay, every little shop or eatery right there or within a few blocks, just to walk around downtown was awesome the staff was awesome too and very very helpful - The staff were very friendly the gym was first class The position was perfect within walking distance of just about everything
