  everything was acceptable to very good, had no issues other than sheet was a little small for the mattress but on the other hand the mattress was very good. AC worked well and we were there during the heat wave, good variety at the free breakfast. Shower water pressure little low but I am sure it is that way to conserve water. We would stay there, again, and recommend it to others. The staff was very pleasant as were the other guests we met.

  Friendly people, clean room, and very clean bathroom. Towels were clean and decently thick; not posh, but quite nice. We were there for a wedding, and we really just needed a clean, comfortable, convenient place to stay. This motel met our needs perfectly.   Very clean, helpful staff. Wifi. Great and convenient location. Quiet. This is an economy, no frills motel, but as such it was exactly what we were looking for. For my wife and I we look for a clean, lo price place to sleep! Allowed us to sit outside with our friends privately, not at the roadside as is typical in most motels. Hosts and staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we need.

Convenient location--we could walk across to Cooke's Seafood Restaurant for great lobster and fried seafood, or drive just a few blocks to Main Street and turn left to fishing harbor, or right to the ocean beach. The location is quite convenient, with parking right next to the room. The price is significantly lower than comparable options. Overall my wife and I were extremely happy with the Governor Prence Inn and look forward to staying there on our next visit.

  We found and booked this motel simply on a hunch after reading the reviews. Let me tell you we were not dsappointed in the least! It was a long ride, so we called ahead to say we would be a late check in. The innkeeper, John was so appreciative of the call that I was immediately impressed. The room is spotless, clean, comfortable, afgordable, delightful, just awesome - The owners really care about their establishment and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It is a spotless motel much like the ones in the 60's and 70's. The rooms are spacious and all updated, have comfortable beds and furnishings. They offer free wifi for their guests. The free continental breakfast is a wonderful added amenity with warm muffins, fresh fruit and juice and coffee. You cannot go wrong if you want a peaceful, clean retreat in the Chatham/Eastham area of the Cape.
