The Hotel posting is The Woodsman hotel and spa I drove by it wishing I had booked there. When I found out it was the hotel I was looking for I was happy. The hotel was easy to find - the sign reads Woodsman hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. It was a little cold at night, they have heaters on the wall. There was internet connection in the room, not very strong but internet connection! My phone was completely out of signal ( Virgin mobile). The staff let me use their phone a couple of times and also the computer. Breakfast is served in the morning across the street. They cleaned the room/changed towels every day.

We rented the 2 BR cottage and it was very comfortable and decorated nicely. The staff was incrediblly friendly and helpful with suggestions and directions. Charming place - comfortable, cozy, peaceful and quiet. Loved the cottage we stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. We didn't want to eat breakfast in the main house with everyone, so we chose not to go in and eat and one of the staff members came to our cottage and asked if we would like to have our breakfast brought to us! We were surprised by the kind offer. I plan on going back!

My daughter and 2 grandsons were on a road trip and decided to stay at this resort. We had a queen room that looks like cottages with 2 comfortable queen size bed. We loved how close it was to the siskiyou lake docking area. We fished three days in a row and having a nice comfy warm room to return to was great. We brought everything we needed to BBQ for two days since BBQs were on sight and we had one conveniently located right out front of our cabin room. The view of the lake was nice as well.
