  Standard hotel but rather recent and in good state. Not "worn out" like some other hotels of same chain. Very entertaining breakfast (surprise...) - It was very nice and clean. The breakfast was very good had hot waffle juice and coffee they had a good variety to choose from.

  Really great and helpful staff, friendly service. The free hotel shuttle is very convenient, especially when we were there for the Memphis in May and it was quite busy with not many free cabs. The staff are great and go out of their way to assist guests.   We stay at the Madison every year at least once. The staff is gracious and accomodating. The rooms are truly luxurious and large. The location is excellent--right downtown by the river and walking distance to Beale Street and downtown restaurants.
