  The hotel was perfectly located near to Union Square with a really nice staff, especially the blond georgian girl. For a 3stars hotel it was perfect: very clean, very cosy and comfortable. I loved the shower, it's the first time I'm happy with the bathroom although I'm traveling all the time and took some 5stars before. There is a map with metrolines available for free and you have coffee - - Location: the hotel is situated only a few steps from the Flatiron building. It is a nice area with beautiful places for having breakfast and dinner. Visit the markets at Union Square and General Worth Square. - Our room was very spacious and nicely furnished. Actually, our room was too big since we only went there to sleep. - Staff was very, very friendly and helpful! We needed an iron which they organized within 5 minutes. Also the cab to JFK was no problem. Thank you guys! - Free coffee

  This was our second stay at the East Village this summer and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is very convenient, as transit can be accessed by 5-10 minute walk. Also, the rooms themselves have a modern feel and are maintained very well (very clean!). We also loved the fact that it has kitchenette (with fridge).   I enjoyed everything about the Hotel East Houston. The room was spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Its proximity to the subway and a being on a main route through lower Manhattan via the bus was highly convenient. The breakfast was better than expected - very fresh quality with lots of selection. The front desk helped calm us down, while providing instructions and directions on how to find our car. Kept our room for us until we were able to get it and return. Plenty to do right around the hote - I received a very warm and friendly welcome from Ana in the Chelsea Pines Inn, and all the staff there were charming and lovely throughout my short stay. The location of this Inn is excellent - a few steps away from an underground station, Chelsea Market and the High Line. Small touches like complimentary water and printing facilities makes Chelsea Pines Inn compare favourably to more upscale places I stayed in ny (where they were charging $8 for a small bottle of water!).

  Bathroom shower is great: good water pressure. If you like the shops around Soho and the variety on New York's chinatown/little italy, this is a great location. It's also walking distance to downtown- civic center, which I walked through with my kids to get to Brooklyn Bridge. The beds where really comfortable and the staff was really kind. Room was good, and although nothing exciting, it was clean with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom where all worked fine. WiFi also worked fine with good bandwidth in our room. All in all really good value for money for NYC. Stayed at hotel for the 3rd time and would definitely come again

  The room was small but very clean. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom had extra towels which was quite nice. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. Subways are around the corner.
