Great location - bus stop literally round the corner, beach a short walk away and restaurants and shops everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly; pool fine; decent-sized lobby for meeting up in; rooms were spacious and clean.
There were 14 of us with 7 teenagers travelling as a group and it suited us perfectly.

the location was central to everything we did. The rooms were clean, staff were helpful with everything we needed. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.

My stay at the Polynesian Plaza was wonderful. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was looking for accommodation at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, the staff was excellent and the room was fine. Especially the rooms facing Kalakaua Ave with the balcony as we got a brilliant view of the Halloween festivities on our last night their. I certainly recommend the Polynesian Plaza to anyone seeking something along the lines of what I have highlighted in this review.

Location was perfect. View was superb. Pool, restaurants, cafes, rooms are all fantastic. Easy access to beach right in front of hotel as well as own private beach area. Excellent poolside bar. Hotel has own bus area to the side where most of the tour buses pick up. Would highly recommend it. -

The hotel is extremely beautiful, in an amazing location, perfectly maintained, and the service was impeccable. A friend had recommended staying in the original building. When we arrived at approx 7.30am and found out check in wasn't until 3pm, we couldn't have been treated better, they told us to head up to the full buffet breakfast and to enjoy all of it on them, they gave us pool towels so we could use the pool or head to waikiki beach, they looked after all our luggage,and although we had to wait to almost 3pm

We stayed in an ocean view suite on the 21st floor. We actually had a view of the ocean and the mountains from our room which was really nice. The rooms were updated and very clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient to everything!!! We were a block away from the beach, and the Beach walk shopping area was right downstairs from the hotel. There was plenty to do in the area and we did not need a car. I would definitely stay here again.
