After arriving by car and experiencing a not too helpful doorman, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk). Congratulations to the designer, the bathrooms are a wonder of design in such a tiny space. I was upgraded to a queens room, that was also a corner room. Enjoyed this corner of peace in the busy city. All staff was very nice, all including the smiling and courtous cleaning ladies. Would go back! -

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic and we were within walking distance of all shops and there were some lovely restaurants nearby. - I had a park view room so it was as nice to stay in as go out. It was so quiet, which a big plus!

room prior to my stay. The Hotel is fairly modern and cozy. Not too
upscale that you'd feel like your sleeping in an overly furnished
office space.

very friendly and courteous staff, rooms very clean. Needed to replace our blowdryer at 10:00 p.m., staff was there within 10 minutes with a new one. Staff was always available and very visible in lobby to greet you as you came in and went out. Conceirge was wonderful. Great stay, great hotel. - very nice and clean! The elevators were excellent---
