We had a very spacious one bedroom apartment and it was fabulous! We were able to enjoy coffee and libations in our room if we wanted to. The facility was very clean and decor was very nice. The staff, especially in the valet area, were very helpful. We made it clear up front that we were not interested in the time share options and so were not bothered with any pressure. Everything..We checked in and was told only a double-double was available when I had prior requested a king. We were there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and Drew who checked us in got very busy searching for other accomodations for us. We ended up in the tower suite with a murphy bed. I had heard those could be uncomfortable,but let me tell you the one in the Marriott, was more comfortable than most king size beds we have stayed in at other hotels. Definitely recommend this hote

stay there value-added to the whole experience. The location was
excellent and safe for getting to and from the french quarters and the
convention centre. The cafe red gravy down the road was a fantastic
place for breakfast each morning!
