Loved the comfy bed, and clean, tidy room. Very well outfitted with microwave, refridgerator, coffee maker, and even a basket of trail mix and Fig Newtons. Staff very friendly and helpful. This room had a balcony out the back as well with a small table and chairs which provided a broad view of the coast north of the hotel. Well insulated from pool and street sounds.

Very nice bar and restaurant with in an up to date boutique style, which contrasted well with the accommodation which had a more cosy traditional feel to it. The food, courtesy of head chef Alessandro was great, lots of locals were dining which is always a good sign. Nice touches, with free water and coffee etc available in the lobby and also free

Location was good and not to far to main area of Laguna Beach. Cross the road there are stairs to the beach and great views.
We where offered an upgrade on arrival without requesting it. The room was huge and comfortable. Pool was clean and warm. Great place for a couple that love the beach.

I liked the art work, front desk staff, cleaning crew, location, parking lot, customer service, balcony, that it was a small but quaint hotel. I don't like crowds so the location was good, we were close enough to shops etc., but far enough from the touristy section. That it was walking distance (across the street) from the beautiful BEACH. Everything! For a budget hotel this was amazing. Fabulous staff, great breakfast, great pool....heated....and lots of character and quirky nooks and crannies. I booked on the net and crossed my fingers as to if I had made the right decision. DEFFO!!!, All of my party really enjoyed our 2 nights stay and were more than pleased. Our stroll into town was via the beach road which was spectacular in itself....great properties and off the scale gardens and vegetation . As Arnie says....I will be back

I saw some neg reviews but we needed a place to stay an opted for this one as it had FREE parking. We found this place clean an relaxing. The spa in the room was hard to step into. Most spa's are but we did use it and it was wonderful to have in the room. There is lots of good places to eat, lots of shopping and most of all lots of art galleries.

We got a really good deal (Genius booking - one day before). The location is awesome - you just have to cross over the street and you are at the beach. Many surf shops and restaurants are just down the street. The rooms are spacious and the integrated whirlpool is a nice feature (but not really necessary in my opinion). We extended our stay for one more night.
