  I stayed in a 2nd floor room (as I requested), for two nights Sept 27-28 2013. The room was very basic, but since it was just for myself, it was just fine - old and rustic with plenty of gold rush character, but clean and practical. Besides the queen bed, there was a sizable round table and two chairs, a cold mini-fridge, and also a small microwav... что говорят » e that was perfect for my late night pizza leftovers and drinks. The hot water got hot very quickly in both the bathroom sink and the shower, which al - I loved the size of the room. Jamestown is a wonderful place to visit and the shops are varied and interesting. The antique shops are quite large and the people in them are friendly. The hotel itself has a beautiful clean sparking pool for kids/families.

  It's just off main road so is quite,room was comfortable,microwave,frig,TV w/cable,pool if your inclined to swim,short walking distance to resturant for dinner only/but across Hwy 108 is a cafe for breakfast and lunch also a gas station, Bed is comfortable (a little firm but OK I will be staying again in comming months.   The staff at the Gold Lodge were the greatest. Always cheerful and helpful. Even potential renovation detractions were handled so the customer was never inconvenienced.
