  The owners are very nice and helpful. They serve a tasty breakfast. They provide good information about Gettysburg. The house is an interesting combination of early 19th century architecture and construction that has been well maintained and tastefully updated. It's a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.   The staff were incredibly friendly. They even were most helpful about stowing our bikes two nights. We were very pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced, and good, the food and drinks in the bar were. We could not have been happier with our choice.   1) Handiness to national park(s) & historic district (most of "old towne Gettysburg), unique restaurants, and related- theme shopping. 2) Reasonable price for a prime location--within block of major portion of Gettysburg National park. 3) Older facilities but well kept up. 4) Ability to park at room door. Literally right next to the edge of the day 3 battlefields, the cemetery and very close to the visitors center. It is also close to the town center-easily walkable. Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy. A bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Pool was nice for a quick dip-all that is needed. After all one doesn't go to Gettysburg to lounge by the pool all day. :) Breakfast was good-in an old house on the property. Typical "breakfast included" fare. We would definitely stay here again

  I stay at this hotel often because its a good place to stay. This time there was a snow storm during the night and I did not have a snow brush. The young lady at the desk said it was no problem and supplied me with brush and scraper. Great service ! - We checked in late (15min before a shift change at 11:00pm) and the staff member stayed past her... что говорят » shift to check us in and give us directions to an open eaterie.
