Well maintained hotel. Extremely friendly staff - allowed me to check in early. Beautiful setting on the river, convenient to Rocky Mtn National Park. Nice, large room with couch in sitting area. Small balcony off the back of the room - made for a nice cross breeze. Fridge in room was nice for keeping snacks and drinks. Nice selection of complimentary snacks and homemade cake in lobby. hope to return again soon.

The location is great, very close to town without being in the middle of the crowds. The rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. That said, what puts the Maxwell Inn over the top is the care and attention of Phil and Dana.
