  I love staying here whenever my bf and i visit frends in bakersfield. The location is convinent and the hotel is well kept. - Beds are very comfortable. Love the chocolate chip cookies!!

  The Padre Hotel has been newly renovated and has a hip, chic vibe but yet they have kept their historic details that lend charm and character to the hotel. They have 3 restaurants that cater to all, from very casual to fine dining experience. They also have a nite club on the weekends. All in all a very good experience! - Great location for the purpose of our stop in Bakersfield which was to visit Buck Owens Crystal Palace. Was impressed with how modern the hotel is and our room was gorgeous, spacious, clean and THE MOST AMAZING BEDS!! Great staff too, quick with our valet parking. Informative of the area and generous in giving me a couple of extra decaf coffees for our room. Good price too.
