The staff is one of the most helpful and interested of guest comfort I ever seen. We've been asked 5 times a day if we enjoy our stay.
Breakfast is included, good, but don't expect very much.
The value of money it is outstanding for a NY hotel. 4 times cheaper than a similar hotel in Manhattan.
About the placement. We recommend this hotel if you came to visit NY and you have a average limited budget.

The quietness. Like a retreat. Great food. - Staff were courteous and efficient. Checked in early but no rooms were available, they said they would call me when I could go to the room. They did. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.

We had a wonderful experience here and will do it again. The staff was MOST helpful (they turned our radiator off when it got warm in the room and also were smiling and accommodating with another small request we had to freeze ice packs in their kitchen freezer). I had stayed there before and enjoyed the traditional atmosphere hugely. I was pleased to see it offered at a tbetter price than other hotels close by.manhattan is nonetheless very expensive - Loved the location, ambience, room!
