  good and warm welcome food was excellent and room . you get what it says on the lable take no notice of nagative reviews it wasent anythink like they said t realy enjoyed my stay and i would stay there again - The rooms were excellent and the location was just right. The outlook from the rooms was excellent

  I requested champagne & a birthday cake .Isobel was brilliant ,getting in superb bottle & her cake maker contact did an excellent job.We were very lucky to be upgraded to the Tower Suite.The suite is on two levels so theres an uber modern double shower downstairs,and a bath large enough for a swim ,in the luxurious open plan bedroom. The room (which was actually an impressively large suite including a kitchenette - much more than we thought we had booked) was very clean and furnished to a very high standard. Everything felt very new and clean. Good central location with plenty of parking space. Had a great stay and was impressed by everything.

  We like the fact that as soon as we had parked the car and entered the Helyar Arms it had a warm welcoming feeling. The room was immaculate, romantic and had a very homely feeling. We had the most beautiful dinner in the evening. It was exactly as described in the menu and surpassed our expectations. Our breakfast was equally del - Can't wait to stay here again!! This is a rare find. Countryside location surrounded by Thatched roof cottages. A quirky 15th century building brimming with character, ample car-parking, cosy, clean & comfortable rooms and absolutely the best food I have tasted in a long time. Mathieu the owner is an award winning chef and a superb host too!

  The close proximity of the Premier Inn building to the Airfield Tavern where we ate although if it had been raining we would have been soaked walking to and from the restaurant. - Excellent staff, especially Keri Anne, who could not do enough for us. Also the food room service, and the staff at breakfast. Cannot commend them too highly.
