We were pleasantly surprised. Hotel was easy to find, had excellent parking. the staff were very nice and helpful, the room was very spacious with a double bed and single bed in. We liked the friendliness of the owners of the Crofton Guest House. Nothing was too much trouble for Duncan and Diane and they created a very welcoming atmosphere. Staff exceptionally friendly, called ahead before we arrived and we were allowed to check in early, which was a welcome relief. Rooms were exceptionally clean, airy and modern. Well designed and functional. Bathrooms were very clean. Hospitality tray was very well stocked. Breakfast was excellent and catered very well for all tastes and a two year old. Very pleasant stay here, the food is excellent, although the menu was set you could have it anyway you wanted so very helpful and the staff are all very friendly. The room was clean and tidy with everything you need. Fantastic location too. Everything is so well run and the owners are really lovely and helpful. -

Good location near the town and beach.
Stayed 3 nights and although in a residential area it was quiet every night.
Good breakfast and extra's e.g. cereals, yoghurts, fruit and offered as much toast as we wanted.
The owner was lovely and had a good balance of being helpful, without being overpowering.

The best thing about Philbeach Hotel was it felt like being at home. The deocr was not dated it was very modern without it being stuffy which is a big bonus when staying at a hotel, you want to feel comfortable and able to relax it did just that. The breakfast is made on request and was very nice, i had two young children with me and they were both accomodated for which is rare. Very satisfied cusomer.

The location is great, right on the sea front with all amenities close by. Transport for various destinations close by. Boat trips available. Very clean beach, good quality of water, great for children. Fish and chips to die for. Hotel lovely, Great breakfast, room comfortable, Large bathroom. Would definitely stay again. Huge antique emporium just opened by the harbour and all the shops you need and more. Great place for a break.

As a couple with young children, we really enjoyed staying at the premier inn. The staff at the hotel and the adjoining Brewers fayre were friendly and customer service was excellent! The room was comfortable. The breakfasts were really good, with kids eating free - which was great!

Faboulous very british beach esplanade hotel, absolutely spotlessly clean all over. Alan & Louise are an amazing couple, they are friendly & welcoming and nothing is too much trouble - Louise had knitted a breakfast menu which I thought was fantastic and my grandson wanted to eat! I am usually wide awake by 7.30 but my nights sleep was so deep I woke up at 8.45! I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
