  Despite poor weather that put paid to our weekend golfing break, we still had a great time in Torquay. Janet and Andrew both made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend anyone staying in Torquay to look them up. - the owners were very hospitable and friendly.   Jo and Will were very accommodating and couldn't have been morewelcoming. We were greeted and brought a tray of tea and cake, our roomwas very well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was cooked freshlyevery morning and there was a good choice on the menu. They were really helpful and suggested some interesting places to visit. It was really nice to spend time there. Hotel is very comfortable and clean.   Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious.   Annette and Ian couldn't do enough for us, the attention to detail in the room was impeccable. We had everything we could possibly want from advise on to where to go, down to the daily chocolate left on our pillows! The whole Hotel was spotless! We couldn't have asked for more. It was a pleasant stay, starting with a warm welcome, a lot of useful ideas for activities, very clean rooms, famous garden, to stay for a drink; just perfect. If we come again to Torquay we will stay there for sure. We can only recommend this hotel.

  a superbly run - family run hotel..a warm welcome from all the staff..a full continental breakfast each morning with fresh coffee, - wonderful ! The rooms were immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. I would definately recommend any length of stay at ' Meadfoot Bay ' 5 star in my opinion
