The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. Had the best nights sleep for months whilst staying in room 6! I would rate this guest house as the best we have stayed in over the last 40 years.We enjoyed a trip on the steam paddle boat Waverley which calls into the village every Wednesday which is very handy .we arrived by motorbike and were made very welcome the breakfast also was to die for -

Beautifully decorated to the highest standards. This is a small country house hotel that has the feel of the Scottish Lochs and mountains throughout. Very nice location and fantastic rooms. Everything was perfect. Cannot recommend it enough. Bedroom fantastic with incredible views over the Kyles of Bute to the Arran mountains. food excellent Lounge perfect with a lovely real log fire to sit with a drink or finish off your coffees sitting on a luxurious settee. Furnishings all everywhere lovely.
