Loved everything about it. Best ever breakfasts, with all you could ask for. The rooms were stylishly decorated and very comfortable and pleasantly warm when it was cold outside. The hotel is well situated for the beach, transport links and the lovely old village.
Gillian and Andy, the proprietors, were very helpful in suggesting the nicest places to visit and how best to get there.
All in all a great hotel.

I cannot praise the Fernbank enough. The owner could not have been more helpful or hospitable. The hotel is beautifully decorated cared for. The public areas were very relaxing to sit in. The room I stayed in was spotless and very comfortable.

The staff were excellent and made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The Hotel was furnished well and very comfortable, lovely gardens to relax in if the weather was good and a very nice heated indoor pool. Breakfast was excellent with a big choice and plenty of it. The Fernbank delivers a high quality of service and comfort and we would certainly go back.

We enjoyed our short stay immensely. The staff were very polite and friendly. Excellent food, tasty, healthy, great variety. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed, central heating. The hotel is located in a very nice quiet area within an easy access to the station and the shops. The beach, Shanklin Chine and the old town are just a short walk

In spite of arriving very late at night and having to leave early on the day I left, I was still treated with great courtesy and pleasantness and nothing was too much trouble. - friendly service, made to feel welcome, comfortable and freshly decorated room, double bed and spacious room for solo traveller.

I am wheat & dairy free which wasn't a problem for my hosts the full english breakfast was well presented and really tasty. I have really enjoyed my stay at the Miclaran B&B I got a friendly welcome, my bed was comfortable with soft cotton sheets. Great view out to sea

owners and comfortable facilities at Westbury Lodge.We had a lovely ground floor en suite twin bedded room, which I found convenient, as I am not as mobile as I used to be. The Lodge is diabetic friendly with suitable breakfast food and help with storing insulin or ice packs.

A most comfortable guest house and spotlessly clean. We were warmly welcomed and immediately given a cup of tea on arrival. The superior double room was beautifully furnished with a spacious bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities, even wineglasses and a corkscrew were provided. The cooked breakfast was fabulous every morning, and there was a wide range of cereals and fruit available too. Before I arrived, I was not sure I would have a good stay. However, upon arrival, I knew I made the best choice to stay here. The staff were very welcoming and the facilities were super great. I wish I dint have to leave. It is very close to the shanklin beach. Also very close to the city center. I would recommend this guest house a million times

Mick is really a nice and friendly staff! The restaurant is nice and clean. The location is so amazing as it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the cliff and you can choose either the lift or walking down to the beach. Also, 5 minutes to Shanklin Old Town is also very convenient! I really had a great time in St George B&B!
