Hazel was the perfect hostess. Nothing was a trouble, great advice on local walks etc, including maps & notes ( prepared by hotel).

The service was superb and nothing was too much trouble.
For example -asked for warm milk for coffee on first morning and this choice was remembered each succeeding morning. Local walks were helpfully printed for us. Both my wife and myself remarked that there was no cooking smell at mealtimes. The room was spotlessly maintained each day and used tea and coffee sachets replaced with same. We ate twice in the restaurant, the first time being for our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoyed beautiful

We were welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits after a long journey down from London. We loved the 'honour' bar system in the evening. The breakfast was delicious - all home made or local food. Beautiful view across the valley.

The B&B was very clean and quiet. The water feature outside my room was switched off at night so it didn't disturb my sleep and I could sleep with the window open.
Breakfast looked to have lovely fresh fruit, cereal and cooked. Wish I could have had some.

Astounding views of the Cornwall coast, Penzance and St. Michaels Mount from the dining room, guest lounge, and guest rooms. Chris and Sally were the perfect hosts, they are an extremely lovely couple. Our stay was made very comfortable, our room was cleaned daily and the breakfasts were second to none, the circular breakfast table encouraged all the residents to chat and get to know each other and exchange their views on places to visit and eat. In a good position near to the beach. The bedroom was nicely decorated and very homely. Chris & Sally were great host who made you feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent and sharing the breakfast table with the other guest was enjoyable this allowed you to get to know them and share knowledge and experience of Newquay and surrounding areas. We would highly recommend Cormorant House.
