  We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park!   A beautiful apartment with great attention to detail and lots of extras to make one's stay more enjoyable including chocolates and many goodies in the fridge. Fabulous position and beautiful place. - compared to most places in skye this is very modern and comfortable. very well kitted out and good design. great bedding/towels etc.

  The staff were nice people. I liked their honesty. The room was great for the price, as was the shower (very powerful and hot). Service was fine in general. Although some people had wrong drinks brought to their table and food from the kitchen was slow for some. It was dog friendly and the staff were really accommodating. The room was furnished nicely and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was reasonably priced and was very good. All of the staff were extremely courteous and helpful.

  This hotel looks down over the town of Portree on the Isle of Skye and is only two blocks from city centre shopping and restaurants. The guest house is beautifully renovated. The bed was so comfy. The view from our window towards the bay was amazing. Staff were excellent as was the restaurant. It also has a nice pub within. The accomodations were a little over our budget, but well worth it. - We found the Marmalade hotel perfect for our short trip to Portree. We are a family with children aged 9 and 10 and the family room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and the breakfasts lovely. The hotel is a small walk out of the town of Portree and has lovely views. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back!
