  I loved the fact that even though there were many other guests you still felt like you were " King of the Castle". Heaps of room. Beautiful scenery. Snooker room is a highlight. Watching your son try and chase down a rabbit on the front lawns was amusing ....and never going to happen!   The owners were really friendly and helpful, and were very eager to ensure we had a great stay. The rooms were really nice, comfortable and clean. The location was great as it was only a few minutes away from Edinburgh city. The facilities such as tv, shower etc were all really good. The owners were approachable and gave us advice on where to go, how to get to places etc. - The b & b owner, Jamie, was exceptionally helpful: we inadvertently left a suitcase on the train when we got off at Musselburgh, and he spent a long time on the phone, trying to find out how to locate it, or how we should enquire about it. After our hotel in Edinburgh on the previous two nights, Honest Toun was blissfully quiet. The bus fare to Edinburgh is only £1.50, and buses are frequent, even on a Sunday morning. Highly recommended.

  We drove into the entrance and thought we were at the wrong place - the first thing you see is a castle - wow!! The lodge we is down the driveway to the left and was very clean and comfortable. Castle staff were very friendly and helpful and conversed with us as time allowed - made us really feel at home, as if we were the Lords and Ladies of the... что говорят » realm. It was quite the occasion for us to go to the bar in the castle and actually socialize in the same place as had British royalty - how often ca - The place is beautiful. It is a bit cut off (in the woods) which makes it excellent for relaxation but not very accessible by public transportation (you need to walk 30mins to get to the bus stop). The staff at this place are very professional, friendly and helpful. It is also very clean. Depending on the clients requirements, I do not hesitate to recommend this accommodation. Furthermore, it is reasonably priced compared to market prices.
