  We were absolutely delighted with everything about the Hotel. Room and en-suite facilities were very good. Food was excellent and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay.   So typical English - just loved it! - Many of the reviews of this hotel are extremely negative. We found courteous staff (native English speakers too, not as some reviews would have it), an excellent breakfast and a comfortable bed.
