  The bar had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the food was delicious and very good value for money. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, comfortable, clean, well equiped and peaceful and the en-suite was huge! I stayed with my husband, parents and adult sister and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, woul - the food was excellent; the venison was cooked pink and rare, just as I liked it...the duck was well done and the vegetables perfect....breakfast [full English] spot on... the choice of beers was really good too and the staff were very friendly and good at their jobs...it was a very cold night with snow yet the room was very warm and cosy...thanks so much
