Modern but tastefully decorated with good quality bed linen.
Our room had a lake view and a nice big window.
Breakfast room was spacious and breakfast was cooked in an open kitchen which gave a great athmosphere.
Lovely little balcony to sit in the sun if you are lucky enough to get any!
Very clean spotless infact!!

Delightful B&B. Homely, very clean and well kept, right on main high street near shops, with a variety of bars/cafes/coffee shops and restaurants to choose from for lunches and evening meals. Location couldn't have been better with everything within easy walking distance. Our room was at the front of the house, and we were surprised how large it was and how comfortable. Really welcoming proprietors; nothing was too much trouble for Dave and Manny. Breakfasts good with locally sourced food

service - It was so close to to the amenities at Bowness that you could walk to shops, restauarnts, cinema etc with ease. It was literally yards away. The lake was further away but walkable. The views, the terrace and grounds over looking the lake, the space andold world charm, welcoming staff and we were fortunate to have a lakeside room. Nice to stay in on wet days when lounge available - The hotel was clean and modern, with fantastic views over lake Windemere. The staff were helpful, informative and friendly.

I found Lingwood Lodge to be very clean and comfortable, the
owners/staff were very friendly which means allot when you are on
your own, the room was excellent and the dining room and breakfast were
very good indeed, I had stayed as a stopover on the way back from
Scotland and I will certainly book another room there. Very good indeed.
Also it was within easy reach of the town centre. I wish I had stayed
there on the way to Scotland. The service was excellent throughout and
would recommend it o

the hostress, Phillipa (hope I didn't wrongly spell her name) was very kind. She welcomed us with delicious tea and cookies, and provided us some milk and cereal when she heard we had to catch up an early train and would miss the breakfast - hmm, the breakfast was quite good here. The room was clean and cozy, enough space and we even saw a deer outside the window. Overall it was really nice stay, I could understand why this guesthouse could get such a high rating.
