Mo at the reception is a really nice guy. We arrived early and he still made sure our room was available for us ASAP. We had a double room which was very nice and clean. The hostel had a lift which was amazing after spending a lot of time lugging bags up many flights of stairs.

The staff was incrediblly nice, everyone was very helpful and polite. There are bus stops in front of the building, the Rotherhithe underground station less than 10 minutes away, it's located in a residential zone so it's a very quiet and safe place. I had previously read a review that said it was scary to walk from the underground station to the hostel, but let me tell you even though it's mostly a desserted area at the late hours of night, it's very safe, so don't worry about that. I really loved the fact that the hostel was always clean and the staff constantly helpful. There was warm water all the time and the beds were really confortable.
Definitely recommended as a nice and cheap way to stay in London!

I stayed for a month. Locations is very good, near Stephney Green Tube
Station, Sansbury and Tesco. The owner and staff are very friendly and
ready to help. Bed is confortable, showers are hot and clean. Wi-fi is
excelent and you can wash your clothes for free. Enjoy your stay, for
the price you pay here I'm 100% sure you can't find better
anywhere else in London. Would return!

The bar, restaurant, lounge and locker area were absolutely amazing! They were places that welcomed a single traveller and really encouraged them to start chatting with other people in the hostel. The whole layout of that area was superb, by far the best I've encountered during my travels, and I'm definitely going to stay at another St. Christopher

Breakfast was simple but fine. The hostel was for girls only and therefore quiet and clean. There was lots of space in the room (compared to other same type of hostels) and there were lockers for everyone under the beds. Free wi-fi in the room.
For that price it was perfect!

1. Great location so you are in picadilly circus or tower bridge within max 20 minutes
2. Very close to elephant and castle station within 5 minutes walk
3. Lovely geen yard when you walk through the gate so you can lay on the grass and enjoy the fresh air

Great place to be, well located and reasonably priced, bright and friendly hostel, situated at 5 minute walk from Elephant & Castle Underground station. Picadilly Circus and Tower Bridge at max 20 minutes away. Room, toilets and public areas are clean and well maintained. I asked them not to be on the first floor after reading the comments and they gave us a nice room on the upper floor. Receptionists are very kind. Nice bar just next door. Common kitchen on each floor. Good price for a nice stay. -
for London area the price was reasonable. Facility was basic 'hostel' but clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.
