We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. We were given the delicious warm cookie to eat while we checked in. We left our luggage and went to do some sightseeing. The staff at the front desk were all cheerful, booked our taxis flawlessly, and provided an electrical adapter for only a deposit. The room was clean and the towels large and plush. The A/C worked fine and kept us quite cool. I booked Hotel Indigo for my husband's 30th birthday and it really was ideal. We had hoped for a relaxing city break and that is what we got.
The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful and offered us a complimentary glass of wine and a turn-down service because it was hubby's birthday, which was lovely.

Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay! Very quick check in with lovely staff who helped us to find bus routes.
The room we stayed in was amazing - everything from the layout to the comfy bed and huge shower made our stay so fun. We also had a great view onto the courtyard where the sun came in, and were able to see the park.
We were able to leave bags for the day. Tower Bridge was just down the road! Short bus journey to Waterloo/Southbank areas too.

We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village.
The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters.
We found out that the hostel was surprisingly clean, even though it's completely administered by

great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The
Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.).
Underground station "London Bridge" 3 minutes from the
hostel. Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two
nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really
good price.

We stayed on three occasions for a total of eleven nights during June
& July 2013.
The hotel is situated in a "business area" with the popular Borough Market nearby. It is within walking distance of the underground and many of London's tourist attractions. We always felt safe walking in the area.

Breakfast room upstairs with river & terrace views . Lots to do in
area, took the river boat down to the Eye (you can also walk this in 15-
20mins) then 10 mins on foot to Horseguards parade and onto Trafalgar
Square.
