  The owners were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome as soon aswe arrived. They gave us tips on where to eat and always stopped to ask us about our day. They were so accomodating. The room was clean and the beds loveky and comfortable The breakfast was good, so what more can you ask for.   We had a four night stay in 2 rooms at Rockside Hotel, one for me and my husband and one grandchild also one on the same floor for our daughter her partner and 2 more Grandchildren. Our train arrived during a downpour and we were soaked when we arrived at the hotel, long before check in time, hoping to just leave our luggage, but we were welcomed ... что говорят » in and served coffee and juice for the children and they immediately went to make our rooms ready so we could get in and changed out of our wet clothe - Super friendly staff. The Hotel was clean and inviting. The room was small but more than adequate for what it is intended for.The full English breakfast was awesome, most places you tend to have a full English, the taste comes across as a generic, this however (as you read in the hotels description) is locally sourced and you can certainly taste the difference. The location is great with everything (South Beach/Town Centre) accessible within a 15 minute walk, newsagents/local shop/Cash point is

  We booked this huest house as a last minute alternative after our botched honeymoon trip to Dalaman. We almost didn't want to leave. The hotel was very peaceful and serene. The location on a hilltop was perfect for good aerial sea view. The room was the cleanest I have ever stayed in any hotel/guest house - it was spotless. Breakfast was good its nice to have a non greasy full English. Ian and Virginia were really nice and talked to us about what we were going to do in scarborough.

  Nice and friendly family/staff and helpful. The food and room were excellent. Lots of up to date leaflets available with things to do for all weathers. The family remembered us from last years stay which was nice. - Very friendly staff. Convenience of a car park and licenced bar.

  We received a warm welcome from Ann and John. They really do go the extra mile to make you feel important. It was the little things that meant so much like them remembering what drinks we liked with our breakfast and that we prefered scrambled eggs instead of fried. They provided us with all day parking permits to park outside the hotel on the road due to all the spaces being taken at - Very welcoming upon arrival, due to being new to Scarborough we were provided with a map and highlighted all of the local attractions and routes to these. The bedroom was very cosy as well as clean and tidy with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was beautiful with plenty to eat and drink. Looking forward to my next stay and already recommending to family and friends.
