The Elgano exceeded all expectations.
My stay was on a weekend when the Welsh rugby team were playing so it was a busy weekend in the City centre.
I arrived at 7.30pm on Saturday and even though I arrived at what seemed a busy time in their restaurant/bar I was greeted with a hello by smiling and courteous members of staff and checked in promptly.

I really loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly,
rooms were clean and cosy. Breakfast was rich - in comparison to what I
was used to in London. A good choice from cereals, toasts with jam and
English breakfast. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the
university and from the city center, so you can walk everywhere (except
for Cardiff Bay, that's a bit further away but there's regular
train service in the city). We stayed in a coach house accross the yard
which was an abs

Could not fault this hotel for sheer value for money.Stayed there recently for the Speedway Grand Prix.The room was spacious and spotless,The bar downstairs both drinks and food were of high quality and very reasonable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were modest, but a great value for money and also very clean. The hotel is on a good location close to the city center, but still very peaceful and safe. Breakfast was excellent as well, fresh bread, yoghurts, fruit every morning. I would definitely come back to stay at the Beverley, especially if I come back with friends or family.

Location. Not too far from shops or the sea. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff and locals friendly.Enjoyed the Saturday night music. -
Cosy little pub, with friendly efficient staff and nice locals.
The food provided was good too. Would stay here again.
