Really central. Literally minutes from everything you would want to see. Apartment was well furnished and very comfortable. Brilliant apartment in very good location right in the centre of York, but still nice and quiet.

Great location in central York, also one of the only hotels that allow one-night only booknigs. The rooms were lovely, great bathrooms all newly refurbished and airy. I left my sat-nav on show in my car, they even phoned me while I was out to let me know and then went to my room found my car keys and got it out for me! Would definitely stay here ag

I stayed here while visiting my daughter who lives in York and I found this hotel to be lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. At the bar the service was excellent and the breakfast (a buffet) had something for everyone's taste. The hotel was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the road, a nightclub across from it, but it didn't bother my nights sleep in the least. The shower was lovely (a walk in shower) and very roomy. We had an 8 month old baby with us and the guest house were great with accommodating him - cot and high chair provided. They also assisted us with drying some of his clothes which was fabulous.
The breakfasts were amazing.
Also, the rooms were reasonably sound proof which helped our baby get a good night's sleep and also meant other guests didn't hear him!
