  Great location and convenient for pubs cafes, shops and sight seeing. Our room situated at the back was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. Very helpful and cheerful receptionists. The fire-alarm went off on one occasion, firemen turned up and declared it as a false alarm, at least we felt safe.   Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day. The room was wonderful, clean and the staff were beyond nice. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Edinburgh.   We loved the apartment. Just big enough for a couple, with a separate living area. Nice big comfortable bed in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. Dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, fridge and all the kitchen stuff one may need. Location-wise, it's about a ten-minute walk from Princes Street, with lots of restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood. You also get 10 to 20% off - We only booked an apartment as we couldn't find a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with Fountain courts & the equipment , washing machine & dishwasher plus the usual.We found the apartment much more relaxing & we had more freedom about breakfast & dining in. Would definately stay here again.Staff were friendly & helpfull. Easy walk to the castle & city centre.

  Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Brothaigh House! The location is great and the room we stayed in was very nice and bright with a lovely Victorian feel. The breakfast options were fantastic. There is toast, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, a full Scottish breakfast and even a vegetarian option. I would recommend this place to anyone. - Our family of 5 stayed in the large family room and were happy with the size of the room. The location was wonderful with buses passing by the front door every few minutes leading right into town. Free parking on the street was convenient. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Our hosts were great - wonderful with the kids and super friendly and helpful.
