Warm and comfortable with everything we could want. Stayed in Silverdale which was large with a gorgeous bathroom and comfortable bed. Great choice for breakfast. - Friendly atmosphere created by the staff and excellent servicethroughout. Rooms are very spacious and have recently been decorated toa high standard.

We had simply the best time here. A supremely comfortable room, in which we had our best two nights sleep of our whole holiday. The Derby Arms offers a full and delicous menu, fine wine, great beer, friendly people, historic bar surroundings with lots to look at. Lovely countryside to walk around. We loved the Derby Arms and would go back again. -

Stayed for a friday night, room was great, we had a shower room and it was big and the shower was excellent, plenty of hot water. Had a great meal, nice to see plenty of locals coming and going and their dogs! Very friendly atmosphere and would definately return.

We knew the distance hotel was from main tourist areas like Windermere. The hotel is down a long quiet country lane. The breakfast was "spot on". Thank you for your service. We liked that we felt at home and our dog was made welcome. The breakfast was great food and loved fact we could say what time we would like to eat Bed really comfy and homemade biscuits and chocolate brownie was added bonus. Cate was clearly a people person, she was slightly eccentric which was endearing ( hope she doesn't mind me saying so ). She worked really hard to make sure we had everything we needed, even finding a recipe for hash browns for my husband Will definitely book again
