  We received a warm welcome from George, a very pleasant and helpful gentleman. We were in Room 4, a good-sized bedroom, overlooking a well-kept and attractive rear garden. The room was spacious with plenty of storage facilities (large wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.) The room had colour TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The bed was comfor - The bed breakfast staff were lovely and really went out of their way to do anything for you. The place was clean, and very comfortable with everything you need for a nights stay and lovely extras of tea/coffee, bottled Water, squash in each room. We were a family travelling together for a wedding and found the bed and breakfast to be very accommodating, they provided a comfortable travel cot for my daughter to sleep in and a beautiful high chair for her to sit in at breakfast.   The staff are so helpful and willing. We were staying so we could enter a road cycling event early on a Sunday morning. I called in advance and they said they would find a meeting room to lock our bikes in. I also asked to put some items in the kitchen fridge - no problem. Car park had lots of spaces and across the road is great little pub, the landlady even gave a donation for the charity th - As I once lived and worked at Lysses when it was a school, it was a bit like going down memory lane! But I like the georgian decor, Dinner was excellent as was the breakfast. My room was quiet and comfortable. A most enjoyable stay.
